UroSketch 3D Professional app for iPhone and iPad

UroSketch 3D provides a 3D model of the prostate, bladder and surrounding organs for use by physicians during consult with their patients. Preset 3D model views show cross sections and different tumor stages which currently focus on the prostate. There is a focus on features that are relevant during discussion of prostatectomy, such as prostatic nerve bundles and the urogenital sphincter.

In each view, the physician is able to add labels, bring up a draw & highlighter function to edit the sketch, and then email or print out a personalized PDF for the patient to take home. The PDF automatically includes a header with physician name, date stamp and any contact details that the physician provides upon download of the app. Consult sessions are listed on the home screen and erased at the end of each day, but the physician is also able to create master sketches, which are not erased and can be used as templates for new sessions.

Our goal with this app is to make clinical consults in urology more efficient by providing an easily shareable 3D visual to document and remind the patient what was discussed.
